Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account information: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google account if you sign in with Google.

Profile information: the details you enter during onboarding, such as your first name, birth date, marital status, state/province and country, church organization, home church, bio, faith and conviction answers, ministry callings, appearance details, and match preferences.

Photos: the profile photos you upload and the selfie used for identity verification.

Messages: the private conversations you send and receive with matched members.

Contact form messages: your name, email, topic, and message when you write to us through the Contact us page.

Basic technical data needed to run and secure the site, such as sign-in timestamps.

2. How we use your information

To create and maintain your account and show your profile to other members according to the matching rules — for example, discovery is limited to your own church organization, and preferences and ministry callings are checked in both directions.

To screen photos and verify identity before photos are shown to other members.

To deliver your matches and private messages, and to operate, secure, and improve the site during alpha testing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising.

3. What other members can see

Members in your church organization whose preferences fit yours in both directions can see your discovery profile: first name, age, state/province, country, marital status, organization, years in the faith, bio, conviction note, serving and appearance details, and your approved photos.

Your home church is not shown in discovery. It becomes visible to a member only after you both choose Connect and form a match, along with your full profile. Only matched members can message you, and only matched members can see your match-only details.

Your email address, password, birth date, and verification selfie are never shown to other members.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account from the Account section of your profile page, your profile, photos, matches, and messages are permanently removed. Administrators may also remove accounts that violate the Terms of Use.

Contact form messages are kept until they are addressed or deleted by an administrator.

5. How we protect it

Access to private data is restricted by row-level security rules in our database, so members can only read the information the matching rules allow. Photos are stored in private storage and shared through short-lived links. Administrative actions are limited to authorized administrator accounts.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, especially during alpha testing, but we work to protect your information and fix issues quickly when they are reported.

6. Your choices

You can update your profile information, photos, and preferences at any time from your profile page. You can change your password in the Account section. You can delete your account and all your information at any time.

You control whom you connect with: a match forms only when both people choose Connect, and you can unmatch at any time.

7. Children

One Faith Singles is only for adults aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
